A pentagram on the floor is encircled by flaming torches as seven coven girls dance to exotic drums. Demonia, the black witch, assisted by Kardak, her evil enforcer, and Rochelle, are beseeching the evil spirit Demon, Vessago, to appear and witness the blood sacrifice he has commanded. A male victim is chained next to the pentagram, and his oiled body reflects the flicker of the flames nearby. A long ornamental dagger is lifted from the burning coals of a cauldron and is held aloft over the drugged victim of the sacrifice by Demonia as she calls out for the evil Demon to show his presence. The coven girls quicken the pace and wildness of the dance to match the increasing tempo and intensity of the drums. The blade is thrust downwards, and the blood of the victim is caught in a cup. A new participant in the coven is kneeling, and receives the BAPTISM OF BLOOD as the cup is tilted over her head by KARDAK. Rochelle joins Demonia in the chanting to the evil demon, who joins the ceremony, appearing in raging fire, thunder and lightning as his image fills the sacrificial room with terror. The great horned Demon is aligned with Satan himself, his tentacles and dark horns emanating from his head are frightening, as he bellows his approval of the sacrifice and Baptism. In a small recording studio, Rob, a sound engineer, and his assistant, Ginny, are completing a master sound mix of a number just performed by their client, Stacy, an up-and-coming singer, obviously a very talented girl. Taking off her head-set, she is hugged by Ginny, and complimented by Rob for a number very well done. Both wish her good luck on her entry in a talent contest to be staged later that night.

In a television studio, a talent search has been ongoing, and judges seated nearby have narrowed the contestants down to three singers, each a fine talent, making their job of selecting a winner somewhat difficult.  Stacy, an outstanding talent, seems to have accumulated the greatest number of votes. Johnny Richards, the talent show host, tells the viewing audiences to cast their votes for the final selection, and in the interim, a high energy dancing and singing group will entertain. The final vote is tallied, and Rich, Stacy's boyfriend, along with his friends Nick and Julie, await word in the audience when Stacy is announced as the winner of " AMERICA 'S TOP TALENT".  A bit of celebration by the four is joyous, and Rich, a ventriloquist who was eliminated earlier from the talent contest, adds a bit of fun to the occasion.

In a back-street alley heavy with trash and debris, a homeless man stirs from his bed of cardboard boxes and ragged coverings to witness a vehicle backing up in the darkness, and a man removing a body from the trunk and dumping it onto a pile of refuse. In the dark shadows we recognize Kardak as he re-enters the vehicle and speeds off. The homeless man moves to the body, and finds it lifeless, with bloody residue covering much of it.

Exiting Rich's car, a fancy and very new vehicle, Stacy is still very excited about winning the contest, and says that now she is willing to do almost anything to continue successfully on her road to fame and fortune. Rich and his ventriloquist dummy, "TOMMY" take Stacy to her apartment, where Rich leaves Tommy with Stacy to keep her company, as he is going to his gym for a work-out, agreed to earlier with his buddy Nick.

In her bedroom, Tommy sits, staring at Stacy as she undresses for bed. Lights are out but we see Tommy's eyes looking eerily at Stacy, and we're not sure Tommy is not a part of something evil that is about to take place.

In an old but still usable movie studio, with lights, cables and old-fashioned camera equipment cluttering the place, there is a coven meeting room. Burning candles and a pentagram are seen. Demonia, head of the coven, and Rochelle are giving a potion to the girls, as Kardak re-enters the room returning from his disposition of the previous victim. The coven girls again react to the exotic drumbeat, and begin to dance. There are several mannequins present in the room, and although they have a strange presence, they are frozen in time, and seem to observe the goings on. Demonia asks for Vessago to grant their wishes and return Mara, their queen witch who is now departed, to be returned to them, so that together they may all enjoys the fruits of sacrifice.  Vessago again appears, and roars out that he must have more sacrifice, and that they must offer more victims to a blood sacrifice in his honor. Demonia pleads for Vessago's help in finding more victims, possibly leading them to more coven girls that could help them lure victims. Vessago is a fiercely demonic disciple of the great Satan himself.

Stacy is restless from all of the excitement, and apologizes to Tommy who sits nearby seemingly watching her every move, for Rich and Tommy not to have done better in the talent competitions. Tommy's eyes tell us that he understands. In a burst of fire and lightning, Vessago appears in Stacy's room, frightening her to immobility.  In a demonic voice, Vessago tells Stacy that he can give her the fame, fortune and immortality that she so desires but that she would have to pledge her soul to him. Stacy is in sheer panic at the vision of Vessago, but says she would never give her soul to Satan. Vessago tells her that she will face the consequences of her refusal then leaves the room in a burst of sound and fire.

At a police station, a uniformed officer and a plainclothesman are talking to the homeless man, who reported the scene of observing the victim being dumped in the debris in the alley near his digs. The officers discuss that the body was a victim of a homicide, but strangely, his body, even being stabbed, was drained of blood.

At the coven's meeting room, Vessago appears to the group with his usual fire and thunder, and commands the mannequins to be of assistance. One by one, the mannequins de-materialize then rematerialize in exact visual reproductions of themselves, but now females, very pretty as the mannequins are, and dressed exactly like their inanimate counterparts. They de-materialize into the ethers as the dancers continue their ritual of the dancing to the savage drum-beats.

In Stacy's room, the mannequins, now live female counterparts, materialize and command that Stacy accompany them. Stacy is frightened, but refuses, knowing that they are participants in the satanic rites of Vessago. She struggles with them as they all de-materialize, leaving the room empty except for Tommy, who now left alone, stares blankly at the walls.

At the gym, Rich has finished his workouts with his buddy Nick. The two talk as Rich tries to call Stacy. In Stacy's bedroom, Tommy is the only one listening to the telephone ringing, and it seems as though he would like to answer it, and tell of what he has witnessed happening.  Rich and Nick walk outside to Rich's car, as Rich seems concerned that Stacy does not respond to his calls. Nick comments on Rich's new car. Rich tells him that after his last car was stolen, he would never suffer a loss like that again. This time, in his new vehicle, he installed the electronic LO-JACK program that on demand the company can locate his stolen vehicle via a global positioning device. "It can be located anywhere, anytime, in a few moments, and police are notified, often in time to prevent any misuse of the vehicle." Rich tells Nick he will go to Stacy's apartment to find out why she is not answering, and drives off.

In the coven room, the mannequins appear with Stacy, who is immediately given a drugged drink by Kardak, and led powerlessly into the center of the room near the pentagram. Demonia tells her that the only way she can avoid being a victim of sacrifice herself is to find someone to take her place. She must endure the "Baptism of Blood".  Drugged, she tells Demonia that she will ask her friend Rich to join her.

Back at Stacy's apartment, Rich enters her room just in time to hear the last few words of Stacy's voice on her answering machine. Rich plays back Stacy's message, telling him how to find her, then leaves hurriedly.

Rob is on the phone in the recording studio, and appears excited and happy about what he is hearing. Hanging up, Rob tells Ginny that ARCADE MUSIC is offering a recording contract to Stacy that could make her a sensation and a wealthy star.  Ginny tries calling Stacy, but since she cannot reach her, says she will go to her apartment to give her the great news.

Rich drives the freeways to find the off-ramp leading to the old movie studio Stacy has described.

In another Television Station, a special program is going on. A host and moderator, Bill Masters, is questioning Dr. Ludvig Korneschevsky, an expert in the PARANORMAL, and Dr. Frederika Valloria, an expert in PSYCHIC PHENOMENON.  Their discussions are quick and brief, but all agree that the two sciences are serious and not to be fooled around with.

Rich circles the building, the old movie studio Stacy described. He calls Nick on his cell, and gives him the PIN number on his Lo-Jack system, 'just in case', gives him the location, and tells him to notify the police if anything goes wrong. Exiting his vehicle, he moves around the building to find a secluded entry door. He finds it open, and enters. In the darkness, Kardak throws a black cloak over his head, and then shoots him with a needle and container holding drugs into his arm, making him near totally helpless. Kardak leads him into the coven room where the coven dancers are preparing for the sacrifice and Demonia hails the new victim.

Ginny, hoping to give the good news about a recording contract to Stacy, drives to her apartment. There she finds the door unlocked and enters.  Tommy watches her every move in near darkness until she finds the light switch. Ginny lets out a little scream as she sees Tommy staring at her. She goes to the phone and calls Rob. She is now concerned as she tells Rob she must have left in a hurry, and did not even take her purse or I.D. with her.  Rob tells her that he is probably fine, just out celebrating, and tells her to check with Rich's friends  Nick and Julie, maybe they know where they are.

In the coven room of the studio, Stacy awaits the BAPTISM OF BLOOD, as the drugged Rich is prepared for the blood-letting sacrifice.  Candles are burning wildly; Vessago appears and calls for the sacrifice. The coven girls are dancing, the voodoo drums beat loudly.  Rich is about to be made another bloodless corpse.

Ginny has found Nick's cell number in Stacy's phone book, and is asking him if he happens to know where Rich and Stacy might be. Nick tells Ginny that Rich gave him an address and a PIN number for his Lo-Jack system. He will go there and check it out.

Rich is closer to being the sacrificial victim, Vessago is howling through the fires and thunder for Demonia and Rochelle to drive the dagger into Rich's heart. Stacy does not register the danger that faces her and Rich.

Nick arrives at the studio, and sensing something is wrong, calls the police. The detectives that talked with the homeless man are dispatched to the scene after Nick gives them the PIN for the location of Rich's vehicle.

Upon arrival, the detectives remark that the vehicle described to them by the homeless man, is now parked at the studio. As they approach the studio back entrance, Kardak, wearing his sacrificial mask, hood and cloak, emerges to drag another lifeless body to his vehicle. One detective grabs Kardak from behind and incapacitates him, telling the other to handcuff and detain him while he goes inside, wearing Kardaks mask and garb. Nick follows him.

Inside the coven room, the detective is unnoticed as he observes Demonia and Rochelle pouring the drugged drink into cups held by the dancers. As the girls drink the potion, Rochelle hands out spears and daggers to be used in the sacrificial death of the newest victim, Rich. Nick stays to the dark shadows in the studio, and is in total awe of the situation. He sees Stacy and Rich, who is chained to the sacrificial altar. Demonia chants loudly for the appearance of Vessago to witness the blood-letting sacrifice in his honor, and in honor of Satan.

Vessago appears in the fire, thunder, lightning, and satanic howling. The detective throws off the mask he is wearing, pulls his weapon, and fires at the figure of Vessago. Vessago, unfazed, demands that the coven attack and kill Demonia and Rochelle. The coven girls now turn their spears and daggers on them as commanded, and kill both of them. The bodies of the two witches dissolve out in fire as they die. We hear the satanic screams of the witches as they die in the swirling flames and angry fire. Vassago now demands that they kills the intruders, the detective and Nick. The detective fires two loud shots, and loudly demands that they drop their weapons, disrobe, and give up their ties to Satan and Vessago. The coven slowly responds to the detective's commands, remove their black cloaks, and looking bewildered they obey. Their queen, the black witch known as Demonia is no longer their leader.

The detective calls for back-up as Nick frees Rich, then in turn the two release and bring Stacy out of her drug-induced trance. The coven girls seemingly in a daze, now fall exhausted.

Vessago is raging, screaming loudly, bellowing through the fires that engulf him, that he will return, and bring the legions of Satan to deal with those who defy him. All goes calm after the tumultuous ordeal.

Later, Stacy, Rich, Nick and Julie, Rob and Ginny toast Stacy's success on her recording contract. Tommy, Rich's alter-ego, has a few snappy words to say, bringing laughter to all.
